Senior Finance Manager

Sewell Wallis are delighted to be partnering with a manufacturing organisation on the outskirts of Huddersfield who are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager into their Head Office team.

This is an exciting time to join, as the company is going through a successful period of growth where they are looking to complete a number of acquisitions.

Our client is looking for an ambitious qualified Accountant (c1-2 years PQE) who is looking for an opportunity which long term could lead to an FD position.

Working closely with the senior management team and liaising with key stakeholders, your role will be extremely varied and hands on with responsibilities to include:-

Full responsibility for the preparation of timely and accurate management information
Budgeting and forecasting
Undertaking variance and performance analysis
Financial reporting
Managing cashflow
Taking ownership and control of financial operations
Treasury management
Business partnering the Operations teams
Improving processes, procedures and controls where necessary
Payroll processing
Overseeing a small team, mentoring and performance management
ERP development

Requirements

Fully qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA with a strong manufacturing background
Ideally knowledge of Dynamics 365 / Dynamics NAV
Ability to influence stakeholders including non-finance colleagues
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines on multiple tasks
