Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Senior Credit Controller to join a growing professional services business based in Central Leeds. The position reports into a knowledgeable Finance Manager who the successful candidate can learn and develop their skill set under.

In addition to this excellent long term growth opportunities are provided with a clear structure within the finance team. Due to the position being quite a senior position within the credit control team 2 years' experience is a requirement.

The business is based a 10 minute walk away from Leeds Train Station and has excellent nearby transport links.

As the Senior Credit Controller you will be responsible for the following:
Building relationships with key customers.
Collect outstanding balances from customers in accordance with agreed terms.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Allocate payments to the sales ledger.
Monthly reconciliation and reporting of the debtor's ledger.
Monthly debt reports.
Credit checking potential clients.
Issuing remittances and credit notes.
Other ad hoc tasks as and when required.

The ideal candidate will have:
2 years' Credit Control experience.
Experience of working in a professional services environment.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong communication skills.
