This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and move into a supervisory role. Full training is provided with the successful candidate reporting directly into the Finance Manager.
Due to the nature of the role 2 years prior credit control experience is a requirement, preferably with some of this coming in a business to consumer role.
As the credit controller you will be responsible for the following:
Collect outstanding balances from customers in accordance with agreed terms.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Monitor and update the collections sheet.
Report the value of daily collections to senior management.
Monitor the company bank account for daily receipts.
Supervising the other member of the credit control team.
Allocate payments to the sales ledger.
Monthly reconciliation and reporting of the debtor's ledger.
Other ad hoc tasks as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have:
Over 2 years' experience in a credit control role.
Excellent communication skills (essential).
A resilient approach to chasing overdue payments.
A strong work ethic.
Good Microsoft Excel skills.
