If you are a recently qualified accountant who is looking for a position where you will regularly engage with the wider business, then this is a great opportunity to consider. This is a pivotal role in the company, where you will closely business partner with IT and Procurement, analyse strategic investments and contribute to the preparation and review of monthly performance.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, your role will include the following duties:-
-Partnering with key internal stakeholders around high-level IT project spend across the UK
-Partner across the finance function to understand the costs and benefits associated with IT
-Assist in the presentation of monthly management accounts analysis
-Preparation of management presentations
-Working closely with the Group FP&A function to ensure that project activities are coordinated and actioned effectively
-Regular communication around project proposals and progress reports
-Recommending actions based on your analysis and appraisal to appropriate stakeholders
-Prepare and review budgets and reforecasts in the UK
-Support overseas finance teams on best practices with an emphasis on streamlining processes where possible
Our client is looking for someone to be a newly qualified accountant with demonstrable experience around stakeholder management and business partnering. You will be a strong user of Excel as financial modelling is a key part of this position.
Personally, you will be driven and ambitious and someone who is confident in liaising with the wider business. Experience working within a global organisation would be beneficial.,
