Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a Primary Care Provider in North Leeds who are recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team.You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/ACCA and candidates looking to make a first move into Industry will be considered.
Preparing monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts
Analysing actual spend vs. budgets and forecasts, explaining any variances
Working alongside operational teams, assisting with finance queries
Preparing VAT returns
Assisting with audit file preparation
Analysing and managing risk
Supporting the auditors with tax computations
Providing advice on ways to improve business performance and strategies to reduce cost
Filing annual returns with Companies House
Supporting the payroll team
Managing a small team
Requirements
Qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Strong technical background
Excellent communication skills
Ambitious and proactive as this role will offer ongoing progression opportunities
