They have an exciting new vacancy for a Quality Assurance/Claims Manager to join their organisation due to growth and offer excellent career opportunities and a personalised career development programme.

Reporting to the Senior Quality Assurance Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of Quality Assurance/Claims Assistants. This position is key within the business and whilst being a hands on role the main purpose of the role will be focused around leading, motivating and developing the team. You should be comfortable working towards strict targets and deadlines, ensuring that all client audit requirements/ compliance processes are adhered to.

The main responsibilities of the role will involve:-

-Completing independent file reviews to ensure fee earners are working to agreed performance standards
-Ensuring that the team are delivering service excellence to clients by compliance with service level agreements
-Managing and developing the team to ensure that operational objectives are achieved and identifying and coaching individuals to reach their potential
-Reporting on departmental performance and providing feedback, identifying improvement areas and helping to develop a culture of continuous improvement
-Completing client file reviews to monitor adherence to SLA's and internal performance standards using the internal audit database
-Producing audit performance report to the Audit Manager for agreement and cascade to relevant Client Account Partners
-Working with partners to deliver feedback to fee earners
-Working with risk teams to ensure all new and proposed Service Level Agreements are reviewed
-Reviewing and preparing files for client audits delivering timely feedback to the Client Account Partner
-Managing ad-hoc audit requests from Audit Managers
-Assisting in the delivery of continuous improvement to the UK Insurance Practice, recommending improvements and designing and delivering training
- Carrying out regular performance reviews and completing training as and when required

The ideal candidate will:-

-Have a background in either legal panel file audits or insurance claims audit
-Ideally have previous management experience within a similar professional services based environment
-Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and will be able to drive change forward
-Have excellent knowledge of insurance litigation processes
-Have an understanding of audit
-Have a passion for developing and mentoring people and will have a compassionate approach
