We are delighted to be working alongside a niche construction company based in Derbyshire who are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join busy and friendly team. Reporting to the Head Buyer, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with buying and administration duties.

Benefits: £20,000 to £25,000 + 28 days holidays + onsite parking

Responsibilities:
*Process purchasing orders and input data using SAGE 50 (Job Costing)
*Liaise with suppliers- follow ups, confirmation or change orders
*Generate and input order numbers for supplier and staff
*Answer phone calls and respond to emails
*Communicate with the Buyer department
*General admin duties
*Assist the Head Buyer with any other tasks

Ideal Candidate:
*Similar role experience
*Experience working in a construction or manufacturing environment (desirable)
*Ability to work in a fast pace environment and prioritise tasks
*Knowledge of accounts processing
*Self-motivated
*Ability to take direction with a good attitude
*Positive attitude
*Analytical with strong attention to detail
*Good work ethic
*Trustworthy
*Full driving licence is essential due to remote location
