Purchase Ledger Assistant

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a rapidly growing business based within Leeds City Centre. The ideal candidate will have strong accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join an innovative company with a friendly and supportive finance team. You will be providing support to the finance team dealing with the full end-to-end accounts payable process.

You will also be responsible for the following:-

- Registering, recording and matching supplier invoices to purchase orders.
- Maintaining and building relationships with suppliers.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Ensuring internal and external queries are resolved in a timely manner.
- Posting invoices with multiple currencies.
- Supporting the preparation of supplier payment runs.
- Processing and allocating payments to suppliers' accounts.
- Processing of employee expense and corporate credit cards.

The ideal candidate will:-

-Have experience in a similar accounts payable role.
-Be self-motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working towards deadlines.
-Have excellent organisational and communication skills.
-Have good Excel skills.
