Project/FP&A Accountant

Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing manufacturing business based in Harrogate, who have recently become PE backed and are set for a record year in 2022.

Due to this expansion and further acquisitions on the horizon, they require some more support in their finance team to help with some interesting new projects around system improvement and FP&A. This newly created role will require a commercially focused accountant who enjoys varied days, project work and is highly self-motivated.

If you are a qualified accountant who is looking to move away from the routine of month end and enjoy speaking to the wider business, then we would be extremely interested in having a conversation with you regarding this unique opportunity.

Reporting to the Senior Project Accountant, your role will begin with the following projects and your role will then develop from there as the business changes and grows further:-

-Support the finance function on all system implementations and business system upgrades including a new budgeting and consolidation system
-Support with KPI and dashboard implementations
-Ensure there is a strong understanding of finance procedures and impact on future processes and procedures, by business partnering with the wider business
-Establish and regularly produce FP&A reports to the executive management team as well as the company shareholders
-Implement group systems in future acquisitions or new subsidiaries moving forward
-Support the CFO and Group FC in ad-hoc future projects
-Provide monthly reporting to the investors
