Project Accountant

Exceptional opportunity to join a leading business, supporting a major project that that will run for between 6 and 12 months. We are working with an SME in South Yorkshire with a current £30m t/o with ambitious plans to be a £50m t/o business within 3 years. As they embark on this journey they are looking for a Project Accountant to join them to focus on reviewing cross functional business processes, automation and system upgrades.

This is a really exciting time to join a business who is really going somewhere. They're looking for an experienced, talented individual who will help kick start them along their journey of efficiency and growth.

Role profile;

-Act as single point of contact for all financial issues relating to the complex cross function project;
-Act as single point of contact for all financial issues relating to the wider Programme;
- Implement and enforce appropriate financial disciplines and controls;
-Providing accurate and timely management information, including initial scoping and set up;
-Proactively work with business representatives to compile and manage financial opportunities and hazards;
-Ensure delivery of the project within agreed parameters.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous experience in leading a project of a similar nature. You will be results driven, with a commercial flare and will be able to communicate effectively at the highest level. They will consider qualified or QBE candidates what's important is experience improving/implementing a wide variety of business applications and the ability to drive projects forward from the front.
