Project Accountant

We have an exciting new opportunity that has arisen for a Project Accountant! You will coordinate the development and governance of our pipeline of major commercial projects which total over £150m and is growing rapidly; You will collaborate with colleagues throughout the organisation providing high quality information to support to deliver new projects that provide world leading research and innovation.

This diverse and exciting role will be based in the Finance Department and operates in fast paced, innovative and exciting environments based on partnering with ground-breaking global companies to redefine manufacturing and development;

- You'll have a strong, in-depth understanding of how to structure and develop effective business cases from a capital and revenue perspective
- enjoy working closely with colleagues to understand sophisticated activities, and then present these clearly and effectively
- provide adaptable, pragmatic and commercially minded support and coordinate input into clearly articulated business cases with risk/reward analyses that support effective decision
- have outstanding communication skills and will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively
- Have experience of forming and maintaining effective internal and external partnerships and networks
- be an engaged teammate, delivering results through both support and challenge of colleagues at all levels.


The person;

Qualified accountant with experience and expertise in developing and/or working with complex business cases for substantial capital and revenue projects.

The role offers £56,592 - £63,673 per annum with the potential to progress to £73,786 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution.
