Procurement & Supply Chain Executive

Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a renowned manufacturing company located in Sheffield. We are recruiting for a Procurement & Supply Chain Executive to join their growing team who will be responsible for managing the supply chain and international suppliers.

£25,000 to £30,000 + performance related bonus + Laptop & phone

Responsibilities:-
* Develop and maintain the procurement strategy across the business
* Ensure projects and stock levels are met on time and within budget
* Inventory stock
* Manage relationships with international suppliers in India and China
* Purchasing products from international suppliers
* Negotiate with new and existing suppliers
* Raising purchase orders
* Managing imported products
* Communicating, negotiating, and sourcing products internationally
* Carrying out data analysis to identify issues and/or opportunities for improvements and identify new sources of supply for the business to deliver significant cost savings
* Implement the overall Supply Chain strategy for the business including creating and managing budgets
* Stock control in the main warehouse- ensuring it is up to date and correct
* Source and maintain commercial worldwide supplier base
* Working closely with Sales and Operations team

Ideal candidate:-
* Procurement and supply chain management
* Experience working in a construction or manufacturing industry (preferable)
* Knowledge of low-cost sourcing
* Strong organisational skills
* Diligent & Analytical
* IT Literate
