A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a national manufacturer based on the outskirts of York. This is a chance to join a fast-paced, well-established team within a respected organisation.

The successful candidate will have a strong and broad knowledge of payroll and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. They will join a HR team of 9 and will have the sole responsibility for the end to end payroll duties. It is therefore essential they can work under pressure and deliver to deadlines set.

Your responsibilities will include:
*Taking ownership of the payroll processes as well as maintaining and developing the relationships with the 3rd party provider.
*Using a strong knowledge of pay related legislation to ensure company compliance.
*Dealing with tax queries when they arise - managing p11d's, P46 (cars) & PSA
*Initiating of payroll audits when necessary to measure the service standards and compliance levels.
*Ensuring processes are efficient, streamlined, automated and simple.
*Implementation, processing and communication of company benefits which include but are not limited to:
*Pension
*Private Medical Cover
*Life Assurance
*Company Cars/Cash Allowances
*Holidays
*Sick Pay
*Bonus Schemes
*Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Schemes.
*Building and developing relationships with internal stakeholders including but limited to HR, Finance and Legal to implement company benefits.

The ideal candidate will have:
*Excellent knowledge and experience of Pay Legislation, Benefit Legislation, Process Mapping/Process Improvement, System Management/Maintenance and Auditing.
*The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
*The ability to work as part of alone or as part of a team, valuing different opinions from other members of the team.
*Innovative and creative solutions to meet the needs of the business and colleagues.
*A driven and delivery focused approach with a focus on continuous improvement and modernisation.
