Management Accountant

Job description

Sewell Wallis are working exclusively with a manufacturing business based in East Leeds who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their Head Office team.

Ideally you will be PQ / qualified Accountant and it is essential that you have a strong background within a manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Finance Director your responsibilities will include:-

Producing monthly management accounts
Monthly accruals and prepayments
Managing the fixed asset register
Stock reconciliation
Journal ledger postings
Bank reconciliations
Weekly payment runs
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
Costings reviews
Managing cashflow
Expense analysis
Audit preparation
Processing payroll
Reconciling bank accounts and petty cash

Requirements

PQ / qualified Accountant / QBE
Ideally experience of working within an SME
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
