Sewell Wallis are working with a highly reputable and well-known business in Sheffield who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a brilliant and newly created Management Accountant opportunity with a growing and successful business. If you're part qualified or newly qualified and looking for a move to a business that are highly flexible with an exceptional reputation this could be the ideal role.

Offering hybrid working, 25 days holiday plus bank hols and holiday purchase scheme as well as flexible working your role will be responsible for the production of management accounts and leading an Assistant Management Accountant.

* Reporting into the Finance Manager
* Preparation and validation of statistical reports
* Management and development 1 Assistant Accountant
* Work alongside non-financial managers to develop strong commercial awareness
* Production of management accounts
* Full balance sheet control for one of the companies in the group
* Involvement in Finance driven projects to improve controls and reporting
* Ad hock month end reporting


What you will bring?

* Ability to build relationships at all levels
* Be proactive, inquisitive with a passion for challenging teams to drive performance
* A keen eye for detail and financial controls
* Part or newly qualified CIMA/ACCA
* Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards
