Sewell Wallis have an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-thinking group of companies who are leaders in their specialism. Their Centralised Finance Head office in
Sheffield (East) is looking to enhance the Finance team with the addition of a Management

This permanent position will provide a varied and exciting role working closely with the
Group Financial Controller, including initially providing cover to the subsidiary company before expanding across the group, offering the opportunity to take on more tasks as the role develops.

Duties to include:
- Reporting into the Group Financial Controller
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly review of trial balance
- Labour and costing analysis
- Review Purchase Ledger / Aged Creditors
- Review Payment Runs
- Holiday cover Weekly Payroll & Wages Processing
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register
- Monthly VAT
- Assisting with the co-ordination of monthly stocktake and reconciliations
- Assisting with Intercompany reconciliations
- Assisting with budgeting & forecasting
- Assisting with year-end audit & preparation of audit file
- Assisting with other Group Companies as & when required

The successful applicant must have experience of taking accounts to at least trial balance, and be comfortable working primarily in Excel.
