Management Accountant

Job description

One of our clients in Harrogate are looking for a competent Management Accountant to join their team, who has gained exposure of the full month end process, to initially cover maternity but as the business are expecting a lot of growth this year, this role has high potential to go permanent well ahead of the contract end date.

The fixed term contract will be for 14 months initially to align with their maternity cover need.

This role will work directly with the Senior Finance Manager to accurately produce the management accounts whilst supporting a small team, so this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for management/supervisory exposure to build on their skill-set.

Your key responsibilities will include:-

  • Accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support the Finance Manager in preparing the monthly management accounts
  • Analysis and review of various budgets
  • Liaise with stakeholders and other senior members throughout the business
  • Profit margin analysis
