Management Accountant

Job description

The role will include management of the function of Finance:-

  • Full responsibility of producing the monthly Management Accounts in a timely manner, including month-end tasks such as:
  • Accruals & Prepayments
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register.
  • Performing a Balance Sheet review, with the Group Finance Manager.
  • Ensuring the good record keeping, including Sales Ledger/Purchase Ledger.
  • Ensuring the bank reconciliation is kept up to date.
  • Keeping on top of Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reporting.
  • Budgeting & cash-flow forecasting, including variance analysis.
  • Management of part time staff (remote management)
  • Build relationships with the management team in alternative location
  • Process standardisation to follow best practice set by the group.
  • Continuous improvement when it comes to processes.
  • Potential for exposure to payroll.
  • Working to tight deadlines.


The successful management accountant will be:

  • -Experienced in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • -Part qualified ACCA/CIMA.
  • A confident communicator
