Ideally your previous roles will have had a commercial edge to them with experience of delivering insightful analysis and information to senior stakeholders and directors.
Day to day
*Supporting a given division of the business, providing the team with commercial support and analysis work.
*This will include helping the business to decide on pricing strategies and commercial bids ensuring that any potential customer deals are accurately costed, competitive and are the right decision for the business.
*Delivering MI reports to the Management team and Directors from across the business unit.
*Stakeholder management of the division on a day-to-day basis. Whilst some of the team members are on-site, others are not.
*Work to ensure the finance team are in contact with, and always looking to support, the operational teams across the business in new and innovative ways.
*Provide key management information to the operational functions in the business as well as being a key link between the finance department and the business. The role works hand in hand with the business so it's important for the candidate to display extensive experience of cross-functional working
*Support the Finance Director with wider business engagement, ongoing financial forecasting, and management of company's overall financial position.
*Support the month end process, reviewing outputs and delivering commentaries that provide insight into business performance.
*Support wider finance team when required
*Deliver appropriate reporting/analysis to the business as required
