Sewell Wallis are working with a hugely successful manufacturing business in Leeds that are looking for a Management Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to manage the management accounting for a growing division of the business while building strong relationships and gaining lots of exposure to senior stakeholders.
You will be responsible for:
* Producing monthly management accounts for one business division
* Performing value adding variance analysis
* Business partnering with budget holders and senior directors
* Delivering management information to facilitate delivery of strategic objectives
* Contributing to the forecasting process
* Positively challenging stakeholders to ensure forecasts and budgets are in line with agreed timetables
* Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes
* Key point of contact for external auditors
* Producing ad hoc financial reports
The successful candidate will be ACCA / CIMA qualified or finalist with strong management accounting experience, good commercial acumen and will receive a salary of £50,000 alongside flexible hybrid working.
