We're working with a leading UK business looking for a Management Accountant in their team. A great hybrid role for an ambitious Management Accountant where you'll have full management accounts responsibility.* Preparation of weekly/ monthly accounts
* Ensure accounting policies comply with the relevant accounting standards and company policies are followed
* Provide analytical review of both financial and non-financial external returns and financial accounts to ensure reasonableness, consistency and accuracy
* Weekly KPI packs
* Fixed overhead spend reviews, providing strong cost control
* Review Asset register
* Balance sheet reconciliation's (as per TB register)
* Review purchasing spend tracking rebates, optimisation of payment terms
* Stock Reporting
* Identify opportunities for cost mitigation, propose a business case
* Providing commentary to the business to back-up accounts schedules
* Associating values to the business challenge
* Driving continuous improvement and developing processes
