Are you an experienced Management Accountant with a track record of delivering accurate and comprehensive month-end reports? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our client based in South Sheffield. As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the finance team, providing essential insights and financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making.Management Accountant duties:
* Lead and complete the full month-end management accountant pack, ensuring all financial data is accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
* Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, providing valuable insights into business performance and identifying areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and validate the accuracy of financial reports.
* Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts to maintain financial integrity.
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, contributing to the financial planning process.
* Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers and trends impacting business performance.
* Prepare and submit statutory returns in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Support senior management in ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support projects.
The successful Management Accountant:
* Proven experience as a Management Accountant, demonstrating expertise in completing a full month-end management accountant pack.
* Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
* Advanced Excel skills
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Relevant accounting qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, or CIMA are desirable.
