Sewell Wallis are partnered with a growing, fast-paced business in Leeds as they look to add a Management Accountant to their team.This fantastic opportunity is well suited to someone who is nearing the end of their ACCA / CIMA qualification or already qualified, has experience in a similar role and can demonstrate a proactive approach to work.
Duties include:
- Completion of the month-end process for allocated entities
- Monthly preparation of the accruals and prepayments schedule
- Responsible for all aspects of the profit & loss account
- Working closely with stakeholders to explain variances, expenditures, budgets & forecasts
- Monthly preparation of balance sheet reconciliation with commentary
- Oversee and review journal entries
- Preparing monthly KPI's
- Prepare year-end audit files
- Produce monthly cashflows with forecast projections
- Reviewing and analysing monthly payroll
- Supporting with budgeting and forecasting
The successful applicant will receive a salary of up to £50,000, hybrid working at newly renovated central Leeds office, plus lots of scope for career progression in the future.
