Management Accountant

The role reports directly to the financial controller, supporting them extensively with management accountant duties. This can include:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Assisting with budgets, forecasts, P&L
- Assisting with accruals and prepayments
- Reviewing trial balance
- Margin analysis
- Stock evaluation
- Managing VAT
- Journal posting including payroll journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Identifying financial risks and opportunities
- Assisting in compliance across finance functions

The ideal candidate:
- Hold a form of finance qualification/is currently studying
- Experienced in month end management accounting
- Competent on IT including excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Good attention to details and able to work with initiative
