The opportunity

If you are a part qualified or newly qualified accountant, who is looking to join a highly dynamic and collaborative finance team, then this is an ideal opportunity to apply for! They are looking to recruit a highly ambitious Management Accountant, where your expertise will be valued, and your career development will be consistently set out in front of you. This role will quickly progress to a more senior opportunity in the next 12 months.

This newly created position will support the Finance Director and Finance Manager with month end tasks and will offer you the opportunity to gain exposure to business partnering, where you can play a pivotal role in adding to financial performance and providing valuable insights to the Senior Management Team.

Duties will not be limited to, but will include the following:

-Produce and analyse monthly margin reports and reconcile sales margin and billing reports to the General Ledger
-Work closely with Procurement, looking at product pricing and supplier contract management
-Preparation of daily financial metrics for the manufacturing site
-Standard costing amendments
-Sales order reporting
-Labour, overhead and inventory reporting and analysis
-Prepare quarterly headcount summary
-Produce the balance sheet report for the manufacturing facility and consolidate into the global reporting pack
-Business partnering with business unit leaders
-Assist with the roll out of SAP to other sites
-Work closely with the Finance Director on exciting new commercial projects

Our ideal candidate

You will need to be studying a recognised accountancy qualification with advanced Excel skills. You will be career driven, an effective communicator and have an interest in increasing your commercial awareness and business partnering.

Any experience working within manufacturing would be an advantage, however its not essential. Experience using SAP would also be a fantastic benefit to our client.

Personality wise you will be confident, hungry to progress and a great team player.
