Logistics Finance Analyst

They are now looking for a qualified Logistics Finance Analyst to join their FP&A team, where you will be providing analysis and insight to support a variety of managers in making key operational decisions.

You will have the opportunity to significantly impact the business, due to partnering with senior stakeholders, in and out of finance. So if you are looking for an operational focused role where you can really add value, this will be an excellent role to apply for!

As the Logistics Finance Analyst, your duties will include the following:-

-Lead the product costing process, including signing off quarterly vendor pricing updates and providing detail cost calculations for new products
-Supply chain and inventory analysis through accurate monthly reporting
-Highlighting any areas that are in needs of improvement to senior stakeholders
-Business partner with the Operations and Supply Chain teams
-Take ownership of forecast templates, consolidation and reporting
-End to end cost centre ownership for the IT/Supply Chain and Operations cost centres
-Month end close including interrogation of costs and explanations to variances
-Production of the annual and quarterly forecasts in line with business planning process, ensuring accurate cost assumptions are aligned with business partners
-Process improvement from a financial and operational perspective
-Work on ad hoc projects

You will need to be a qualified accountant who has ideally worked within either FMCG, logistics or manufacturing. Any experience of standing costing would be an advantage, however not essential.

You must be comfortable in dealing with large data sets and be able to present complex figures in a simple and coherent way.
