Junior Credit Controller

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Junior Credit Controller to join a growing business in the South Leeds area. The position reports into a supportive Financial Controller and will see the successful candidate work alongside the Senior Credit Controller.

Full training is provided and our client is looking for someone they develop and progress as the business continues to grow. Excellent communication skills are key to this role as the main focus will be constantly building/improving relationships with clients.

This is quite a junior role and so would suit someone with around 1 years' credit control experience. Those with experience in other areas of transactional accounts, such as sales ledger, will also be considered.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Contacting clients by phone/e-mail regarding outstanding monies.
Resolving customer queries and updating contacts in the CRM.
Daily and weekly customer invoice runs.
Raising credit notes.
Allocating cash receipts in the Sage 200 general ledger and daily banking.
General administration duties as needed.
Any other ad hoc duties as required.

A positive attitude to dealing with problems as and when they arise.
A strong work ethic.
