Sewell Wallis are delighted to be partnering with one of the largest and most prestigious professional service based businesses within the Leeds area in their search to recruit an Operational Finance Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join an award winning company who have offices throughout the UK and have a growing presence in the international market. The successful candidate will join a forward thinking and progressive business and will report into a dynamic and extremely knowledgeable and supportive Senior Finance Manager.

This really is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and driven existing Operational/ Transactional Finance Manager who has previous experience of ideally working within a fast paced, ever changing business. The main focus of the role will be to manage the existing onshore and offshore based transactional teams whilst ensuring that all existing processes, procedures and controls are adhered to.

The main duties of the role will include:-

-Overseeing the billing, cash management and accounts payable functions across the UK, Europe and the Middle East
-Providing support and guidance to each individual finance team and managing the heads of those teams and ensuring that each department is running smoothly and that SLA's are adhered to
-Looking at existing processes and procedures and advising on how improvements could be made and assisting with implementing change
-Dealing with key stakeholders across the business and providing support to the existing Senior Finance Manager
-Managing change processes across the finance team and motivating and mentoring the team
-Driving key finance projects forward and liaising with all areas of finance both internationally and within the UK
-Key point of contact for all international finance teams and ensuring that they are adhering to key business values and processes
-Responsible for delivering an exceptional level of service to both internal and external clients and dealing with any complex, escalated queries

The ideal candidate will:-

-Preferably have previous experience of working within a professional services environment or a large, fast paced business
-Have experience of managing large transactional finance teams and will enjoy and have a proven background of being able to motivate and inspire a team
-Be able to work across various software systems and complex entities
-Thrive on working within a challenging yet forward thinking environment and will always be looking at ways in which they can improve existing processes and systems
-Have strong stakeholder management and excellent customer service skills
-Be able to adapt to change and will be able to prioritise workload in order to meet multiple service level agreements and business KPI's
-Have a flexible approach to travel when needed and will be focused on achieving client service excellence.
