Interim Systems Analyst

Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working in an exclusive partnership with a leading design business based in Huddersfield, who are looking to appoint a motivated Interim Systems Analyst to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.

Our client is proud of their longstanding heritage and have recently been focused on the future and growing the business. Part of a larger, international company, our client offers a unique and highly innovative product to a variety of industries, including retail, healthcare, sport, and commercial interiors.

They have recently recognised that they need to change/improve their current systems and require an expert to join the business to advise them on their options. Particular areas of improvement include stock control, project costings, quotations and invoicing.

As the Interim Systems Analyst, your role will include the following duties:-

-Review all work completed to date and determine if the proposed system is suitable for the company's requirements
-Make sound recommendations to the Board regarding system requirements and developments, including identifying a new system if required
-Prepare an implementation plan with a full timetable including milestones to be achieved, training programme and migration plan from current system
-Oversee the implementation plan and report weekly to the Board on progress, highlighting any potential bottlenecks with proposals to overcome any issues
-Advise on any hardware requirements and obtain quotes purchase of any new equipment
-Review implementation and highlight any successes any areas for further improvement
