As the Interim Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the following duties:-
-Carrying out a variety of financial duties associated with month end preparation and submission of the UK balance sheet.
-Preparation of reports such as balance sheet risk reviews and budget and forecast information.
-Assisting with the production of statutory accounts.
-Balance sheet reconciliations.
-Appropriately challenging different departments around completing the reconciliations.
-Undertake a number of process improvements to facilitate a more efficient month end process.
The ideal candidate will be:-
-Available to start immediately.
-A qualified accountant with a background in financial accounting.
-Experience around balance sheet audit work and statutory accounts.
-Strong knowledge of IFRS is essential.
-Experience operating within a large finance function.
