Interim Finance Analyst

Job description

Sewell Wallis are currently working with a global organisation based in Leeds, who are urgently looking for an Interim Finance Analyst for a 7-month period to cover maternity.

You will be working closely with the Divisional Finance Director, working on ad hoc projects as the arise and producing quality financial analysis for the business division.


You role will include the following duties:


-Conduct high level financial analysis and modelling on various projects
-Partner with senior stakeholders to advise, challenge and support with critical decisions
-Turn raw financial data into insightful information and provide a narrative to present to stakeholders
-Variance analysis
-Reviewing continuous improvement opportunities for the divison
-Development and delivery of sales flash reporting

You will need to someone who is incredibly strong on Excel and is used to manipulating large data sets. Whilst a qualified accountant is not essential, you will need to have worked within a finance team so you can support with other financial areas when needed.
