Sewell Wallis are currently working with a successful and very profitable SME in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Head of Finance to join their team.This is a stand alone role, working closely with the senior management team and a great opportunity for an ambitious qualified Accountant looking for a number 1 finance position.
Your key responsibilities will include:-
Preparing monthly management accounts
Budgeting and forecasting
Balance sheet reviews
Cashflow forecasting
Overseeing transactional finance
Variance analysis
Managing the fixed asset register
Preparing the year end audit
Financial planning and analysis
Reviewing financial policies and procedures
Supporting ad hoc projects
Requirements
Qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA/ACA/ACCA
Ambitious and keen to help drive the business forward
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Confident communicator across all levels
Strong IT skills
