Sewell Wallis are working with a well known brand with offices in Leeds, who are looking to recruit a Group Reporting Accountant.This role will suit candidates who are ideally ACA qualified with a strong technical background.
Working within Group Finance and reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, your responsibilities will include-
Preparing non-trading company financial accounts on a monthly basis
Preparing consolidated results to deliver a Group P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
Producing year end statutory accounts for UK entities
Liaising with group auditors and managing the group audit process
Managing all UK corporation tax calculations and submissions
Managing M&A accounting requirements
Ensuring IFRS requirements are understood across the business units
Providing support to the wider finance team and technical accounting expertise across the Group
Requirements
ACA qualified Accountant, ideally big 4
Working knowledge of IFRS16 and IFRS3
Experience of transaction accounting and preparing UK Corporation Tax Computations
Strong communication and presentation skills
