We are currently assisting a niche manufacturing group based in Chesterfield with their search for a Group Financial Controller in a newly created role. This is a great opportunity to join an innovative business at the forefront of their industry who operate on a national and international basis. Being well known in the local area as an excellent employer who give opportunities to individuals to develop and excel in their career, they also have significant involvement with the local community in promoting careers within specialist manufacturing in South Yorkshire.

The business has recently grown through acquisition and have plans to continue to grow in the future, they are looking to fill this key role with commercially aware accountant who has ability to lead the finance team, deliver the financials and be significantly involved with future growth plans for the business.

Having recently finished implementing a new ERP system they are continuously looking for further ways to drive efficiencies and streamline processes across the business. It is therefore key that this individual has proficient systems skills and is adept at MI reporting and will be able to drill down on product costings, stock valuations and provide sales and margin analysis to the key business leaders.

This role would suit a recently qualified Finance Manager / Financial Controller (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with a proven background in manufacturing who is striving to take the next step in their career. They're looking for someone with huge amounts of ambition, who will bring new ideas to the business and one day will be their future Finance Director.

We're looking for a Finance Business Partner who has excellent communication skills, who will get out within the business and be equally passionate about their product and brand. You'll be an 'ideas person' and not afraid of challenging opinions and will be passionate about leading and developing a small team.
