This is a pivotal role within the organisation, working as part of the senior management team.
You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a strong technical background
Reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:-
Preparing statutory accounts
Taking ownership of the balance sheet
Managing the monthly forecasting process
Preparing quarterly audit reviews
Group tax reporting / overseeing treasury
Reviewing and implementing process improvements
Group reporting ensuring information is correct and presented to the board
Managing key relationships both internally and externally
Supporting the wider finance team on key projects
Managing a small team of qualified /PQ Accountants
Qualified Accountant, ideally Practice trained
Strong IT and reporting skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment to tight deadlines
Experience of managing a team
Excellent stakeholder management skills
