Sewell Wallis have been engaged by a successful Harrogate based business in their search for a new Finance Manager.

The business have been operating for over 25 years across Yorkshire and have an industry leading management team leading the business that they want you to be a part of.

The role reports directly to the COO and will support not only with finance but also with operational decision making across the group ensuring there is a commercial focus to future decisions.

You must be confident in not only delivering information but also happy to investigate and challenge where required.

This is a varied position working across financial controller and strategic decision making.

Key responsibilities;

*Completion of management accounting information including full group P+L review and insightful insights into performance.
*Understanding what drives performance across the business and what decisions will impact bottom line, with a focus on having a positive influence.
*Contributing to business plans and forecasting, crucial for investment decisions
*Responsible for producing headline information sent to external stakeholders
*Prepare reports to be included in the monthly board pack for Directors
*Providing proactive, insightful and high-quality analysis to support key decision making.
*Main point of contact for the end of year Annual Audited accounts process
*Developing cash flow reporting information and working alongside departments to manage payment and collection processes.
*Developing cash budgets/forecasts for monthly, quarterly and annual periods.
*Identifying opportunities to improve financial systems and processes.
*Development and tracking of financial performance measures and quality KPIs.

You will need to be;

Fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
Experience in supporting a senior management team
Confident, inquisitive and a people person.
