Job description
Sewell Wallis are currently working with a well known brand in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Group Accountant for up to 12 months.Ideally you will be Practice trained with a strong background in group and financial accounting.
Reporting to the Senior Manager your responsibilities will include:-
Preparing statutory accounts
Managing lease accounting
Balance Sheet controls and reconciliations
Analysing and preparing of the annual consolidated group budget
Liaising with the auditors
Preparing tax returns
Ad hoc finance project work
Requirements
Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA / ACCA
Strong background in group and financial accounts
Good attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
