Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a French Speaking Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a large, nationally recognised business based in the Pudsey area.

The role is at a highly-regarded organisation with a reputation for developing their employees and is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to enter the accounts sector or progress on their existing experience within accounts.

The position reports into an experience Purchase Ledger Manager and so full support and training will be provided.

Duties include:
Multi-currency payment runs.
Liaising in both English and French with internal and external stakeholders.
Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
High volume invoice processing.
Supplier statement reconciliations.
Updating supplier records.
Acting as the point of contact for suppliers with any purchase ledger related queries.
Contacting suppliers and internal departments to ensure queries are resolved promptly.
Ensuring all internal reporting requirements are completed on time.
Other ad hoc duties as and when required.

The ideal candidate will have:
A fluent grasp of the French language (Essential).
A resilient approach to dealing with queries as and when they arise.
Good Microsoft Excel skills.
The ability to work efficiently in a busy, high pressure environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
