The successful candidate will have experience in Credit Control or a similar position. It is essential that they can speak French fluently.
Your responsibilities will include:
Accountability for your own section of the sales ledger, ensuring that payments are collected in appropriate time.
Acting as the first point of contact for customers with all credit related issues.
Allocating payments received from customers are correctly allocated to the correct invoices in a time-effective manner.
Making sure payments received from customers are made in line with the agreed payment terms by contacting and speaking with customers in a proactive manner.
Contacting customers and internal departments to ensure queries are resolved promptly.
Closely checking on accounts that are viewed as posing a credit risk and highlighting these issues to relevant managers in the business.
Identifying and preparing accounts to go to a third party collection agency when necessary.
Reviewing credit limits as required by adhering to the credit vetting process.
Ensuring all internal reporting requirements are completed on time.
Any other adhoc duties that may be required.
The ideal candidate have:
A strong understanding of Credit Control with experience gained through a B2B environment.
A fluent grasp of the French language.
Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in dealing with multiple accounts in a high volume, low average value invoice environment.
A resilient approach with the ability to work objectively whilst under pressure.
The ability to work efficiently in a busy, high pressure environment.
