Sewell Wallis are delighted to be working with a not-for-profit business based in Wakefield who are looking to recruit an FP&A Analyst within their team.

This newly created role will support the Finance Director with business-critical analysis, whilst also being able to deputise for the Finance Manager when they are out the business.

This role would suit an ambitious part qualified accountant, with a strong background in an analytical role.

As the FP&A Analyst your role will include the following duties:-

- Provide detailed analysis to support business strategy and to aid commercial decisions
- Produce effective cash flow forecasts, to ensure business performance is consistently visible to the SLT
- Support the Finance Manager with the preparation of annual budgets
- Partner with marketing, events and revenue teams to produce accurate financial analysis
- Consolidate financial data in an understandable and relatable way to finance and non-finance departments
- Ensure reporting is completed in a timely and efficient way
- Demonstrate the ability to analyse large sets of data to support with generating business plans

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to be/have:-

- A part qualified accountant
- Analytically strong and an advanced Excel user
- Ambitious and commercially astute
- Experience working in a financial analyst/FP&A role previously
- Strong attention to detail
- A confident personality to business partner outside of finance
