We are currently supporting our manufacturing client based near Worksop with their search for an ambitious Financial Controller. This is a business who have plans for rapid growth within the UK and therefore require a commercially minded qualified accountant who will play a big part in guiding the business to achieve targets.

This is a newly created role, working as part of a newly recruited management team who have been appointed during an exciting period of change.

Reporting in the Managing Director, the Financial Controller will be the number one person on site and responsible for the full leadership of the Finance function.

Duties will include;

Management of the finance team including Purchase Ledger and Credit Control
Productions of financial statutory reporting and year end, preparation of audit files
Business planning including budgeting and forecasting
Cash flow forecasting
Preparation of key management information reporting
Implementation of systems and processes
Presentation of results and has an active involvement in senior management meetings
Responsible for processing payroll

Suitable candidates:

Qualified - CIMA/ACCA/ACA
Significant experience working as senior management level
Demonstrable experience improving processes, controls and systems
People management experience
Enthusiastic and confident in challenging decision making
