Sewell Wallis are delighted to be partnering on an exclusive basis with a growing business in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller into their Head Office team.
Working as part of the senior management team and leading a small Finance function, this is an extremely varied role where your responsibilities will include:-
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasting
- Overseeing the weekly and monthly payroll processes
- Analysing financial performance
- Presenting financial information to key stakeholders
- Managing and reporting on foreign currency balances
- Overseeing the preparation of VAT returns
- Dealing with client contracts and tenders
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACCA / ACA
- Experience of working within an SME
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Confident communicator across all levels with the ability to challenge senior stakeholders
- Strong IT skills
