Sewell Wallis are working on a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Financial Controller to join this business, a £90m t/o service sector group based in Sheffield. The successful candidate will work for an experienced and supportive Finance Director who is looking for their next rising star that they can mentor into this role.

The role;

  • You'll take full responsibility for producing the monthly P&L and detailed analysis for your division.
  • You'll be heavily involved with the Finance Director in producing the annual budget and all quarterly forecasting.
  • Responsibility for any ad hoc or regular KPI reporting.
  • Supporting the Finance Director at Year End and will the annual audit.
  • Overseeing the purchase ledger activity for your area, ensuring accuracy and prompt payment is made for division by the purchase ledger team.

What we're looking for;

  • An ACA, CIMA or ACCA Qualified management accountant looking to take the next step up in their career.
  • You'll be analytical and commercially minded, this role requires someone who strives to make improvements and improve results.
  • A relationship builder, they're looking for someone who is prepared to support their colleagues as they do in return.

What's on offer;

  • A salary of between £50,000 - £60,000
