Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a Financial Controller on an exclusive basis to join a successful IT business in Leeds.This is a number 2 Finance role, reporting to the CFO and our client is looking for an individual who can mentor and manage a well established team
You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACA / ACCA and your responsibilities will include:-
Producing monthly management accounts
Leading budgeting and forecasting processes
Monitoring cash flow forecasting
Statutory accounts preparation
Balance sheet reconciliations
Monitoring KPI's
Analysing financial performance
Implementing policies and procedures
Acting as the main point of contact for the auditors
Presenting financial information to key stakeholders
Assisting with systems improvements
Dealing with customer contracts
Providing support on key projects
Requirements
Fully qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACA / ACCA
Team management experience
Knowledge of statutory reporting
Strong analytical and systems skills
Confident communicator with the ability to present financial information to stakeholders
Our client is offering hybrid working - 3 days in the office / 2 at home.
