Sewell Wallis are currently working with a successful SME in South Leeds who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller.This is a great opportunity for an ambitious qualified Accountant looking for the next step and reporting to the senior management team, your responsibilities will include:-
Preparing monthly management accounts
Budgeting and forecasting
Balance sheet reviews
Business Partnering the Operations teams
Overseeing transactional finance
Financial planning and analysis
Reviewing financial policies and procedures
Supporting ad hoc projects
Assisting with the implementation of an ERP system.
Day to day management of a small finance team
Requirements
Qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACCA / ACA
Experience of working within an SME
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Confident communicator across all levels
Strong IT skills
