Financial Accounting Manager

We are working with a £50m turnover service sector business based in Chesterfield with their search for a Financial Accounting Manager. This is a great time for a Financial Accounting Manager to join a business who are implementing several positive and strategic changes and investments, which include investments in IT and a new ERP system, as well as key board appointments and international growth plans.


The job;

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Financial Accounting Manager will be supporting the Financial Controller and leading a team in the core Finance Function.

The Financial Accounting Manager will have demonstrable experience in Financial Accounting processes, perhaps from an Audit or Practice background, as well as the ability to prioritise both team and personal workloads. It is vitally important to ensure all month, quarter and year end deadlines are met while still overseeing a high volume of day-to-day transactions.

The Financial Accounting Manager will work closely with and support the Financial Controller in producing accurate accounts to Trial Balance for review and analysis. You will display an adaptable and consistent managerial approach to provide personalised and effective leadership. Your leadership should inspire progression, while coaching and developing the Finance Team according to their professional development requirements.


The person;

Will be ACCA or ACA Qualified
Will have demonstratable experience managing people
Will have a strong background in financial control
Will have excellent attention to detail and high-level analytical skills
Will be driven, keen to make a difference and will have strong systems implementation experience
