Are you someone who is stuck in a role with no career progression and struggling to see your next step up within the current finance structure? If so this would be an excellent opportunity to consider as this business are looking for their new Finance Manager to step into the FC position within the next two years, if not sooner for the right candidate.
Therefore from the first day you will have clear objectives and goals set to move you up the ladder as soon as possible.
As the Finance Manager you will be a senior member of the finance team, reporting into a fantastic FC and your key responsibilities will include the following:-
-Managing a team of 3 including an accounts assistant, an assistant accountant and an accountant
-Leading and motivating the finance team and delegating where possible to help with their development
-Working with key stakeholders in the business to develop a robust budgeting and forecasting process
-Review the monthly management accounts across all companies and present key trends and issue to the Financial Controller
-Process improvement across month end procedures and analysis
-Business partner closely with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain and Site Managers in providing key financial information and ensuring consistency of information
-Ensure robust balance sheet control through monthly review or reconciliations
-Liaising with external auditors and tax professionals
-Support on any ad hoc analysis required by the business
To be considered for this opportunity you must be an extremely career driven qualified accountant who is looking to develop into a Financial Controller position quickly. You will ideally have a strong background within FMCG however other backgrounds will be considered if skills are easily transferable. A strong people manager is also key here as the development of the finance team is a crucial part of this position.
