Finance Manager

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a growing manufacturing business with offices on the outskirts of Halifax - up to £60k plus benefits

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious qualified Accountant and working closely with the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include:-

Budgeting and forecasting
Assisting with the production of statutory accounts
Ensuring that all Regional & Group Reporting requirements and accounting deadlines are achieved
Managing the day to day cash flow in GBP and other currencies
Presenting financial information to the senior management team
Financial reporting and analysis
Providing risk management and working capital management for the business
Taking responsibility for the standard costing system
Ensuring that all internal and external financial reporting requirements are achieved
Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations such as VAT, PAYE, Intrastat
Liaising with the auditors
Mentoring and developing the team

Requirements

Qualified Accountant, ideally ACA / CIMA / ACCA
Experience of working in a senior finance role, ideally within manufacturing
Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
Excellent presentation and communication skills
