Sewell Wallis are partnering with a Huddersfield based business who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their team.Reporting to the UK CFO and working closely with Group Finance, this role will suit candidates who have qualified in Practice, with industry experience.
Your responsibilities will include:-
Producing, reviewing and distributing the standard monthly management reports including P&L, WIP, fixed asset depreciation expense, overhead and rate reports
Cash management - overseeing and monitoring cash flow forecasts, FEX hedging
Financial analysis
Reconciling revenue and costs
Investigating variances from budget
Statutory reporting
Period end analysis
Corporate reporting
Reviewing financial processes and controls
Leading the annual audit
Business Partnering the MD and overseas stakeholders
Identifying areas of commercial risk
Analysing KPI's
Managing a small team
Requirements
Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA / ACCA / CIMA
Strong technical background
Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
Ability to understand the commercial drivers of a business
Excellent analytical skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
