Reporting to the Partners, you will take overall responsibility of the finance team and other key duties will include:-
Managing the budgeting and reforecasting process
Preparing monthly management accounts
Reviewing the monthly payroll
Providing finance support to business managers throughout the firm
Checking monthly bank reconciliations
Analysing business performance
Quarterly VAT returns
Developing and delivering strategic plans
Making recommendations on strategies
Evaluating finance systems
Ensuring finance objectives are met
Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA
Experience of working within the Legal/Professional Services sector
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Solid IT skills
Ideally knowledge of SRA rules
The ability to manage and develop a finance team
Good commercial acumen
